Help build and improve the technology behind our application, underwriting, and funding process. This is a contract role, well suited to someone who wants focused, project-based work rather than a full-time seat.
What you'll do
Build and maintain features across our lending platform, from the applicant-facing site to internal underwriting tools
Work with APIs that connect income verification, credit data, and funding systems
Collaborate with product and compliance teams to make sure new features meet lending regulations
Fix bugs and improve performance in existing parts of the platform
Write clear documentation so other engineers can pick up where you leave off
What you'll need
Experience building production web applications, backend or full-stack
Comfort working with third-party APIs and handling sensitive financial data responsibly
Ability to work independently on a defined scope and communicate progress clearly
Prior fintech, lending, or regulated-industry experience is a plus, not a requirement

Remote, project-based engagement. Scope and timeline are agreed upfront and can extend based on fit and workload.
